The passion for photography brought me a lot of rewards,even if it is only a hobby...
But because I am well quoted now also as a photographer,I begun to use my photos as decoration-elements in the projects I made.
I bought a Bushnell telescope for making photos with the sky for a polyvalente building in Iraklio (Crete-Greece).
This building is a center for conferences, shows,weddings (It can hold a normal 5000 person Cretan wedding ...!!!).
The main hall is about 1000 ms.The cantral fase-ceiling, which is 600 ms surface is covered with hudge photos,creating a fantastic sky-immage.
The basic immages of stars and some of the planets are my photos,a few of them I took from a National Telescope (in Crete).
All the immages have been "worked" on Photoshop, so as to have more stars and to have the same color-range.

My next idea is to decorate a marine-restaurant with underwater photos on the surrounding walls...what do U think?

Photos are directly painted on the ceiling, or at first printed on a fabric and glued ?

We printed the immages (102 immages - 2m/3m each) on a thick paper,because it behaved in the best way with the glue and the material of the false ceiling (ipsos-plantre).Nevertheless,because of the glue every image was encreasing the length with 3 cm (the 3m)...
The false ceiling is at a hight of 9m.
To paint this immage of the Universe,with such a resolution and details,600ms,it would have been extremly difficult and expensive...(and the painter working on the orizontal surface at 9 m high...) :?  
So,we printed on paper and glue it.
Only to print it it costed 8000 euro... (80 euro/immage).
But that price obtained with big efforts by my client...the normal price beguns at 300 euro / immage ... 8O  
 
The 4 immages on the wall with the stage were also my photos (macro photos with flowers),and we printed them on a plastic surface,so as to be able to remove it and to replace it with the other 4 immages with the women representing the 4 seasons.Each of those immages is 5m high...

Well, if so, please do go on ! Beeing "crazy" like this is just the way life stay alive ...
