Monica Frangulea Profil : aRootsien(e) de verre | Hello everyone.
I am not a student.
I am an architect.
The main architect in our office.
Ussualy we give order for the models of our projects to specialised offices (model-makers).
But lately, I got REALLY PISSED OFF by the poor quality and BIIIG PRICE those guys are asking...
So I begin again, like in the university, to make models of our projects...
So : DO U STILL MAKE YOUR OWN MODELS ?
LET'S SEE ...
I show U here the last model I made, 2 month ago, of the extension of the Modern Art Museum "Nestoridiu Melathron" in Rhodes island.
Scale 1:200, the roof can be removed it can be seen how is inside... 8O The round stone cilinder is an existing ancient "MILOS" (moulin).
What do U think... ??? |
Monica Frangulea Profil : aRootsien(e) de verre | more details, and how is with and without the roof |
salta Profil : aRootsien(e) de marbre | Right now, what I do doesn't need models yet (my agency is young !).
I did some as architect-student, and protoypes as designer (wooden-lights, ...yes, photos soon !).
For me, modelling comes in the conception part of the project first ; it's an easier way to project than design for 3D.
Anyway, those ones as yours are rendering-models (final project-ones) to be shown to the client I suppose.
For such models, regarded to the time that requieres model making, I really don't now yet if I will do them by my own or pay someonelse when needed. |
